Jason S. Lomax, ESQ
Jason S. Lomax is a founding partner of Aumiller Lomax and represents federal employees with work-related injuries and disabling conditions. His practice focuses on claims under the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA), serving clients throughout the United States and abroad. He has also presented continuing legal education programs on FECA, covering topics ranging from the claims and appeals process to medical causation, second-opinion examinations, and schedule awards.

Supporting Federal Employees
Jason brings a strong sense of fairness and little patience for bureaucracy that loses sight of the people it is supposed to serve. He has seen injured employees unable to work while facing repeated denials or delays in obtaining wage compensation or necessary medical treatment. Those problems have immediate consequences for the employee and the family depending on them.
That experience drives his approach to representation. He examines the reasons behind a decision, questions conclusions that do not fit the evidence, and presses for proper consideration of the claim. He finds particular satisfaction in working to correct decisions that have left injured employees without needed benefits.

Jason’s legal education and admissions support a career focused on advocating for federal employees. He earned his law degree from Rutgers Law School in Camden after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Scranton. Jason’s early legal experience included a 1998 judicial internship with the Hon. Francis J. Orlando, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court in Camden County, New Jersey.

Over Two Decades of Experience
Jason began working in a small South Jersey law practice as a law clerk in 2000 and became an associate attorney in 2001. He handled a broad range of matters, including personal injury, real estate, wills and estates, bankruptcy, and municipal court cases. In 2006, he opened his own practice, with an increasing emphasis on personal injury.
He partnered with Aaron B. Aumiller in 2010 to form Aumiller Lomax. Their work initially encompassed several areas of federal workplace injury law. As demand for FECA representation grew, they chose to concentrate the practice on that work.
Jason is a husband, father, and grandfather. Family and faith are important parts of his life. He reads widely, with interests ranging from Tolkien and C. S. Lewis to history, science, and philosophy. His musical tastes extend from Dvořák to Tool, and he enjoys attending concerts. A longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan, he attended Brian Dawkins’ Hall of Fame induction.
